Is Golden Apple MD and Nutrition a regular medical practice?
We are a family-run health and wellness telehealth clinic that provides evidence-based and integrative medical and nutritional services with a focus on straightforward, honest and unbiased information within a fair and transparent payment structure. We have an all inclusive monthly rate. This includes ALL (unlimited) of your visits AND 6 visits a year for your female children. Most visits can be booked within 6-8 hours of when you contact us. You will have direct access to Dr. Debrier and Danielle, RD. We want to make it easy for you to schedule a visit, even at night or on a weekend. Danielle and Dr. Debrier work together as a team, and we are both available for you.
How do I set up an appointment?
Our patients will all have our direct contact information. Making an appointment is easy and quick.
What is integrative medicine?
It means that Dr. Debrier and Danielle, RD work together to provide your care.
Are you a primary care or OB/GYN medical practice?
Not specifically, though there is some overlap in our service offerings. In fact, we’d be happy to work alongside your primary care or OB/GYN provider if you’d prefer. Rather, as medical and nutritional health specialists, we work with you to identify any ongoing deficiencies, complex diagnoses or underlying issues, then devise a path forward with the goal of helping you along a journey of healing and wellness. That said, you will probably want to continue with your primary care doctor or specialist.
Do you accept insurance?
To provide the best service we know how, Golden Apple MD and Nutrition does not accept any medical insurance programs. Our services are all covered by your monthly fee. Any medications, labs or testing we order WILL be covered by your insurance. This means all medications, blood or urine tests, or standard imaging such as mammograms or x-rays or MRI scan will be covered by your insurance in same manner they would be if ordered by any standard medical practice.
Can you prescribe medication and order tests?
Yes, and yes! In fact, commercial insurances cover the majority of our recommended lab or imaging tests.
Do you take male patients? How about kids?
No, we don’t take male patients. Our services focus on women’s health. We see women and girls over the age of 6. You won’t need to pay a separate fee for your kids to have visit. Your monthly fee includes 5 visits a year for female family members.
